Professional Service 

Organizations 

-Founder of the annual competition, BGSU Young Composers Competition open to composers in  Ohio in grades 6 -12. BGSU composition faculty adjudicate the entries. Winners attend the  yearly Bowling Green New Music Festival, have their works performed and recorded. The prizes  are: 1st prize $500, 2nd prize $300, and 3rd prize $200. This is an ongoing, annual competition.  (2011) 

-College Music Society Great Lakes Chapter, Treasurer (2011-present)

-Founder of an extracurricular, music composition program the MidAmerican Center for  Contemporary Music administers for the Toledo School for the Arts, a Magnet school for the arts  in Toledo OH MACCM Institute. The student composers, ages 14-18, have their final works  performed on the Bowling Green New Music Festival each fall. The works are recorded, and the  recordings are given to the students. This is an ongoing program that runs year-round, October to October. (2010) 

-Bennington Chamber Music Conference, Board Member and Faculty Representative (2010- present) 

-Secured copyright from Nonesuch Records for two Ronald Roseman LPs of Handel. Re released the recording on a self-produced CD “Ronald Roseman and Friends,” working closely  with the Roseman Estate (available digitally and in hard copy) (2010) 

-Created and maintain a website about the American oboist, Ronald Roseman - www.ronaldroseman.com
